a lot of people criticizing Prestwick D/O, the problem is not the staff, but Royal Mail's cut backs that's been on going for 20 years when it lost the monopoly and rivals cherry picked all the profitable mail, leaving Royal Mail to deliver there competitors mail at a loss because there competitors never delivered the mail themselves, the actual posties try to bend over backwards to help the public get there mail and parcels

On the whole the service received is first class (No pun intended!) The postmen here are all so friendly and the majority go out of their way to help when collecting parcels, informing and retrieving post for that day , if they can. However there is one member of staff I have encountered on numerous occasions that gives the impression they really can't be bothered and handing you your post is really a toil for them. A hint here: If you can't face the public, don't answer the window.

Don't be confused with the Web site. The post office is not open between 4.00 and 10.pm on a Thursday. The Web site is out of date

Always have to pick up my parcels because they never get delivered. The collection office opening times are laughable and change on a weekly basis.

WORST EVER, STRIKED THROUGH CHRISTMAS SO THANKS VERY MUCH CANT COLLECT PRESENTS BECAUSE THE USELESS POSTMAN CANT LEAVE A PARCEL BEHIND A GATE, NOW WHO KNOWS WHETHER THEY ARE OPEN OR SHUT, NOTHING I ENJOY MORE THAN HAVING TO DRIVE DOWN EVERY OTHER DAY TO SEE IF YOUR OPEN OR NOT

Ludicrously inconvenient and variable opening hours. If you work full time don't expect to get your parcel anytime soon.

Opening times seem to get earlier and earlier every time i come here. Misleading opening times as google said close was at 12pm only to arrive and find you close at 10am.
