These guys are absolutely amazing and kept me calm throughout. They are good at communicating and lateral thinkers when there were issues. I found them friendly, and supportive.

At one point I realised that I'd accidentally sent off all my bank cards, passports, birth certs etc on the lorry from London to Orkney. They were genuinely concerned. Everything arrived, they are absolutely trustworthy.

The price was very good too. They were £7.5k cheaper than the quotes I got down South.

Thank you for helping me settle smoothly, and counselling me on the overnight drive to Aberdeen!

5 Star Outstanding Service with a personal touch, especially from driver Ricky and the office team. We had a 2 part move from South England and North Highlands. When the logistics became more complicated than anticipated, due to poor weather, the company took this all in their stride and communicated every step of the move to accommodate our timetable. Everything was wrapped and stacked into the lorry with great care and respect for our property. On the receiving end, the 3 man team of movers worked with clear communication and such efficiency that it all needs commending. This is a company we can genuinely recommend and trust for their excellent service.

Fantastic service. Facilitated a move from The UK mainland to one of the archipelago of the UK. Cost a pretty penny but the staff are worth every penny. No job is too big and no such thing as NO. We were actually quite short notice with the move and McAdie and Reeve Ltd made it possible. I have no regrets using this company and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about moving home, moving supplies or even deliveries.

Best moving company ever. They will not over charged you, they are very helpful and guide you from step one to move in at your new home. Very good for bringing bulky items from down south to Orkney (like IKEA). We can't recommend them enough.

If you are looking for a stress-free removal service, McAdie & Reeve should be your first port of call. Excellent customer service and first-class removal service. Three VERY hard working lads made short work of packing an Artic lorry full of my bruck and Martin ensured every step of the process was clearly communicated. Last used a couple of years ago when they were excellent, don't know what's happened but 3 instances in as many weeks and can only say they are unprofessional and inefficient. Office staff need to go on customer service training and learn how to speak to customers on the phone. Ringing at 7.30am to arrange a delivery that I had already spoken to them about 2 days before? Then I had to chase them up at 4pm to see where it was! Promised call back by the very inexperienced and unprofessional girl who answered the phone (this happened with the next delivery as well) but never got one. Lorry eventually turned up at 5pm. Next, my son booked them to collect an item with clear instructions to call the person they were collecting from in advance so he could be at collection point, they didn't bother and then wondered why no one was there. Last, but by no means least, a complete service failure over a specified date delivery which they wanted to deliver a week early and then had to be chased by the supplier to deliver a week after the specified date. No call to ensure I was in and no paperwork to sign - no doubt put through as delivered on date! This is the short version as there was a lot of chasing up (on my part) and ignoring (on their part) in between. I'll use a more reliable and customer focussed local company from now on.
