Absolute shambles of a company. Previously used years ago and no issues. Tried to prebook taxi in advance via app and wouldn't let me prepay so called company who advised couldn't accept over the phone and to keep trying via app. Eventually managed to prebook with the option of pay in car. Checked in app as car hadn't arrived, said driver to be assigned, Eventually called company back to be told no taxi was being sent as hadn't been prepaid!! Not once was I informed via the app or when I spoke to someone hours before that it had to be prepaid. I wanted to pre pay but THEIR app said there was an issue, hence why booked pay in car as this was offered and worked. When called company was basically advised tough not our problem even though I had spoken to someone who didn't advise of this. Now stranded with a child who has many disabilities and they couldn't care less. Will NEVER use again and will do my best to ensure everyone knows how much of a shambles Home of the Set Fare is!

This is by far the worst taxi company i have ever experienced in my life. £14.80 for a wait and return within Bathgate. This is a cowboy taxi firm who do not care one bit about customers. I’d recommend Elite taxis , would not waste my time with these jokers. This company have a 2.4/5 star rating for a reason. Shambles or a company since they took over county they are absolutely abysmal , app is a joke, cant speak to anyone whos not a robot. This company are a complete joke

Waited 5 days to cancel an airport transfer after accepting the booking. Pickup booked for 4am and they waited till 11:30pm to cancel

Edit : In reference to the response. The issue is not that you cancelled. The issue is when you cancelled. Far to last minute.

You have known for 5 days that you couldn't take the booking. Cancel early.

This operation is a very poorly managed business. We had a taxi booked atleast an hour in advance.
There was no courtesy call our any communication to relay any sort of delay. Staff were disinterested and unapologetic on the 2 calls made...
I had to cancel, and we missed our appointment at the hospital.

I would recommend fair deal taxi' as they were very professional and had a cab with us in under 5 minutes.

Do not use this company if you're relying on them for a pre-booked taxi. Incredibly disappointing. Pre booked a taxi for 08:15am and no driver arrived. I had to call the number and they just apologised and said it is taking longer than usual to find a driver. At 08:20 we were assigned a driver who was coming from Livingston, more than 20 minutes away. Shocking and will not be using this app or recommending to anyone.

After 3 calls to other companies that either didn't answer or had no cars, phoned and booked this company for our train arrival in 30 mins, driver waiting as we arrived, pleasant guy, clean car, good price. Will definitely use as my 1st call for local taxis in the future.

Did not have a good experience with this taxi firm and most definitely will NOT be using them again. At around 7ish on the evening of 13th Nov 24 I booked a taxi to take my father-in-law home to Glasgow Road, Bathgate from El Toro Gaucho where we had been dining. First of all the cab didn't arrive and I had to re-book. When it eventually showed up, the driver was somewhat confrontational claiming that he HAD showed and it was we who hadn't been there ... this was despite the fact we had actually been standing outside the restaurant waiting for him when we are advised he was a few minutes away.
Anyway, when we put my f-i-l into the cab we asked the driver if he would be good enough to wait a few seconds at the drop off point just to ensure my 88 year old, (and deaf) f-i-l got into the house OK, the driver refused stating that "I'm not a baby-sitter". We did not expect the driver to actually DO anything, we didn't expect him to get out his car and physically usher or help him to the door, just to wait in the comfort of his vehicle for about 30 seconds to check he got into the house OK. (The house is on the main road so max 30 seconds of the driver's time was all that was needed).
As I said my father in law is deaf so was blissfully unaware of the driver's bad attitude and as a result gave him a decent tip. Here's a tip from me ... smarten up your attitude, mate. You're in a customer service environment, remember who's paying your wages ! Wish I'd thought to get his name and/or reg. It would be the Council taxi licensing department that would be hearing about it rather than a Google review. Think yourselves lucky !

I pre-booked a taxi via the app over an hour in advance only for the app to start searching for a driver after my train arrived at the station. It was a busy night so that took 30 minutes. I was standing with a couple who pre-booked 3 days in advance and had the same issue. They ended up sharing my taxi after theirs didn’t show up. This firm needs to either remove the pre-booking option or honour the bookings. I knew what time my train was arriving which is why I pre-booked.
