Yes, this post office may be older or sometimes a little slower than in the big towns or cities but I think it is an asset to Maryport to still have its local post office. Some of the staff may not be as young as they used to be or as pleasant as you think they should be to you, but I think they do a fantastic job, they are very knowledgeable, working under pressure sorting peoples issues out, long hours etc.. I have never had any problem and always find the staff very helpful and polite. If you are polite to them and give them the chance to be polite back before slagging them off you might find out..

The older woman who works there seems to have poor customer service skills. Rude. This is based off multiple visits and I always get rude service from her. Maybe a customer service course would help, or maybe find a job that doesn't involve working with people?

The older ladies customer service and people skills are awful. Talk about rude and bad manners. My advice is to Go to ellenborough half a mile up the road where nothing is a problem.
