Totally useless and incompetent, both customer service staff and drivers. They have a very simple task of driving a van and delivering a parcel and yet they still mess it up.

Shocking customer service, paid for next day delivery and it has been refused delivery two days running, the driver has made other deliveries in the area just unable to deliver to me apparently!

Questioning if they even have my delivery or if it has been stolen by a DPD employee as they are the only ones who have access to it.

The delivery guy was unable to deliver originally because he was working with really out of date information. I tried to call DPD local but no one picked up the phone. The person who was in Hedge End where I went first was extremely helpful. The address situation is crucial - it desperately needs updating or drivers will waste time and irritate customers. I was waiting for a shower pump and the plumber had trouble fitting me in as the pump was not delivered when it was supposed to.

Appalling service. Courier does not even attempt delivery to our house, even though I have downloaded the DPD app to try to resolve the issue, upon the advice of DPD Customer Service.It is either delivered to a random address (without my permission) or they claim that they have missed us. No card is left and no DPD courier is recorded on our security device.There are at least 2 adults at this address at all times, working from home. I have left instructions for a safe place or to leave with my next door neighbour if the no one answers, but it would seem that these are ignored. Prompt delivery is especially important in the case of fresh foodstuffs, which has been the case in at least 3 supposedly missed deliveries in the last month! No good at all offering to redeliver in a couple of days, by which time the goods will have deteriorated!! I called Southampton customer support this morning, who could see that the driver had indeed been along our road, but had obviously not followed the instructions or was just too plain lazy to do so.I was given the phone number of the DPD Local Depot - tried calling 3 times, but each time the phone rings out.About as much use as a chocolate teapot! I presume, DPD that if your courier has the intelligence to pass a driving test, then they can also read ? It's just not good enough and has caused us a lot of inconvenience and aggravation during the last month. If you are the manager, please make contact.

Collection driver (allegedly) visited, but was incapable of pressing the doorbell.
We were in all day, yet according to the driver there was nothing to collect.
I spent half an hour on the phone getting passed from pillar to post. "You will have to rebook on the website." they say, but there is no option to rebook the collection.
I'd like a refund & I'd like never to deal with DPD again.

Pathetic. Can't talk to a person! I waited in for 7 hours and the driver wasn't bright enough to find my door, so takes a picture of the wrong part of my block of flats and leaves,.
Email and the useless app say a card was left, left where on the pavement outside? No door bell rang, no door knocked, no contact number called.
Oh and next to my building is a safe parcel drop/collect point.

How this company satisfy their clients is beyond imagination. They seem to have a complete absence of spacial awareness compounded by zero initiative, curiosity or common sense. Random photos of pavements at some distance from the property are as much use as a DPD gift voucher...

This is without doubt the worst delivery company around backed by countless awful reviews. My parcel came from Bristol to Southampton on the 1st delivery day my delivery day was changed by I can only assume the driver, the next day I recieve a message saying it's delivered (it's not) call dpd zero help, walked around my neighborhood looking for the house in the picture (I don't have white external walls) found house by chance up a road not accessible through my road, am told by the house owner that the DPD man tried delivering my parcel and was a little annoyed at being told he was at the wrong house in the wrong road the driver said "we don't look at the address we just scan the box and our satnav takes us to the house ? why write the address on the box?!?!!? Parcel ended up back in Bristol as dpd are totally incompetent. Nearly went and picked it up to save the hassle of trying again but company agreed to send it with royal mail will never have a dpd delivery again and won't be using companies who have them as the only delivery option. Awful service, terrible delivery drivers, staff at depots aren't capable of a conversation, 1 star is much to higher rating and totally not deserved AWFUL
