I have used the Manchester Self Storage twice now since starting at university here and have been very satisfied both times with their service. I had my belongings put into storage with them both times and the pick-up, storage and return delivery all went very smoothly. Furthermore, whenever I had any questions or problems, they were quickly resolved either by phone or email. Overall, I give the service a 5/5 and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for storage - especially those international students who are looking for somewhere to store their stuff over summer.

I wish I had discovered them sooner. We used this company 3 times during my daughter's time in Manchester: twice to store her stuff over the summer months and once to transport the whole lot back to London. On each occasion they were very prompt to answer emails and were very courteous and helpful over the phone. They dropped the empty boxes off at a time to suit my daughter and were punctual when they picked them up. All in all they were very flexible and gave you the impression that the customer came first, which is rare these days. Another bonus was that they were reasonably priced.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with: (The Manchester Self Storage Co Ltd). If you want storage please use another one. I just got my boxes returned with the most horrible attitude. I never felt this way towards a company before. They were rude, racist, disrespectful, and they didn't even do their job or what they were meant to do.

First they messed up on the time. That happened on the pick up day too where they let me wait THE WHOLE day even though they said they were coming in the morning. I let it slide thinking it's a common mistake, but then they did the same on returning day, and I had errands to run so their messing up cost me a lot. They were supposed to come between 10 am or 11am, and they confirmed via email that they will be coming in the morning. They didn't show up until THREE in the afternoon.

After they arrived my mother was here, who's an old lady ON CROTCHES, so as expected she opened the gate for them and waited upstairs. Now this is what really pushed me to write this review. They refused to bring the boxes to the flat's door! even though there's an elevator, so it wouldn't have done them ANY harm. I arrived when they just put the boxes in front of the gate without anyone attending to them (they could have been stolen!!)

I spoke to them asking them nicely to bring them up because I am just a tiny girl who can't carry eight heavy boxes, and they refused saying it's not their problem. They didn't apologise or be nice about it instead they were mean, and nasty. What company does this? (The Manchester Self Storage Co Ltd) leaving boxes in front of a public gate? even though they promise a door to door service? They didn't even come close to my door.

I was even planning on using them again, but with this horrible attitude, and unbelievable rudeness I won't in a million years. I hope you are happy with the level of your service The Manchester Self Storage Co Ltd.

This is the second time I have utilised Manchester Self Storage and have not had an issue with the handling of my belongings, hence a returning customer! As a non-driver, the idea that my items can be picked up and dropped off at the front door means no more hassling a friend to rent a van and worry about all the excess insurance costs if an accident occurs...it can all mount up! I have communicated with both Tom and Tony in Manchester and they have always been willing to help especially when having to change drop off days etc. They have a quick and easy system of storage that suited my needs and the system is backed up by a competent team. Thanks again for the service!
