Beautifully landscaped and maintained park. Large fully serviced pitches. Fantastic bathrooms with showers you can switch on and off (not the awful push button timed buttons). Only minor irritation is the local on-demand bus service insists on dogs being in carriers, so we couldn't get to Bath on public transport. Not the park's fault of course.

Stayed at the site for one night in our Motorhome. This is a small site which has very well kept lawn and edges - and for this it is quite special. However, the site has been rated by Practical Caravan and Motorhome as THE number one site in the south west - which it certainly is not. The cost is an eye watering £50 a night! Having stayed at many sites across the UK, France and Germany this one is definitely top in terms of cost.|It is close to a large reservoir, which is interesting and there are a range of walks you can take. However, in my view the fundamental problem on this site is the "facilities" block. There are just eight "bathrooms" which each have a sink, toilet and shower. Once these eight are occupied you have to queue outside (hopefully it's not raining). It is a weakness that there is no separate toilet block but the biggest problem is inside these "bathrooms". Seems to me that you either have one where the floor is wet because someone has had a shower before you, or you have to ensure the aroma where someone before you has used the toilet.|Paying a premium price for an "award winning" site meant that we had high hopes - but this was a massive disappointment. I provided feedback direct to the site a week ago but have had no response. Expect they will be quicker to respond on Tripadvisor.

This site is well run and maintained. The wardens were always around to ensuring the site was well looked after.

The facilities were kept very clean and to a high standard. Lots of shower/toilet when you consider the size of the site.

Lovely quiet site and the location was very good. A very small walk to the village and local pub.

Stayed in a Lodge which seemed pretty new. Lovely and clean with everything we needed. Spacious and lovely outside seating area. Friendly, helpful staff.|Ideal location for Bath and Wells. Easier because the information provided included the postcodes for Park and ride, shops etc. We used Park and Ride to go to Bath which was much easier than worrying about parking. |Stayed for 4 days but plenty more to see so will be back.

Second visit to this lovely site. Wardens and staff all very helpful. Spacious individual bathrooms, always kept clean. The variety of plants around the site make it feel like a garden and are well maintained. We went on one of the suggested circular walks via the local lake, stopped for a coffee and then continued on to Chew Magna before returning to the site. Close for visiting Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells and Bath and a good base for other places further afield such as Lynmouth. What's not to love about this place? Will be back.

This is an excellent site, beautifully kept, quite exceptional really. It has an excellent pub up the road and a lovely walk around the lake adjacent. We were only there for one night but will definitely be back.

Arrived at the park a little early, had a nice greeting and was able to get into the lodge we booked slightly early. The lodge Fairswood 2 was exactly like the photos. It was clean and tidy, had a nice outside deck and furniture. At night it was all lit by fairy lights looked very pretty. The facilities on sight were spotless toilets shower rooms. Also on site is a washing machine/tumble dryer iron and ironing board and a community freezer. Its Adults only which was really nice and quiet.

Second stay in Chew Valley and once again very pleased with our stay. Stayed with our friends who are seasoned motor homers and this is the best site they have ever stayed at. Recommendation enough!
Ignore the odd bad review.. the ramblings of unhappy minds I am afraid
