As a long serving employee of this company I find your comments totally unjustified and slanderous.
Perhaps you don't understand the meaning of you owing the company.
They put you through your HGV class 1 at their expense and im sure you passed on your second attempt, or maybe it was your third, that showed the faith they had in you to progress.
However, it was you that showed utter disrespect in them by sneakily coming in over the weekend and promptly cleared your truck out of your personal belongings and leaving it out on a public road with the keys in ignition. This then caused problems the following morning when that truck was booked out for our well established customer.
Any company that pays for training of an employer and that said person leaves within a certain time is then liable to reimbursement of said training.
Most companies ask new starters to work maybe 2 or 4 weeks in advance of wages, however VAR paid you after your 1st week. This has since been reviewed and changed because of your actions.
And regarding the HMRC comment, I think you will find that it would have been paid by the company as they have to by law.
