Yes, it’s a great station, with easy parking, and a great cafe and farmshop. But all the facilities are on the London bound platform. There’s only a footbridge with steps to the southbound platform and a very basic open shelter. When you’re in your seventies, you’ve carried suitcases up and down the stairs, and your train is an hour late, (I don’t blame GWR, there was flooding) and it’s January - it’s a choice between 6 flights of stairs or freezing in the shelter. Even building a bridge with slopes rather than stairs would be a huge improvement.

This station is good to use if you are in south Somerset or heart of Somerset to go to some of the villages and towns near Glastonbury, it also has good connections to London Paddington in 1 and 1/2 an hour.

After the renovation, parking is too confusing. Verya bad signalling and no space for drop and go or just wait for passengers. A big mess. Way worst than before

Arrived here as a quick lay over on the way to see a friend & i was pleasantly surprised when I saw how tidy the train station was like it was absolutely spotless & all the buildings are also in keeping for the period in which it was built honestly it would actually look sick for movie companies wanted to use it & literally like it looked soo fresh & that new it could have actually used in films & TV & I must say it's got great architecture
You wanna see it for yourself it's genuinely worth the visit again very soon 😁 you'll understand this review everything you read above is factually true
