Fantastic garage, informative and efficient, I cant recommend highly enough. They will contact you once the job is done, as they are busy so don't keep ringing them for updates. They really know their stuff and work very hard.

Had a a funny set of experiences here. Wouldn't use the garage again.

Had my brakes looked at a while ago here, changed the pads ect. Not long after the caliper seized on, wrecked my discs, pads and calipers. Took it back to them and paid a lot of money to have all the above replaced.

Around 9 months later I hear an odd noise which sounds like an issue with the brakes again. I presumed it couldn't be as I'd so recently had everything replaced ect. A few days later I decide to take it to a garage (different one this time). They tell me the caliper has seized on and the discs need changing as they're trashed.

Surprised I go back to Lodge quarry and get work done on the brakes again it costs me a fortune and they change the caliper saying its faulty. They charge me to do the work and I carry on with my van. I have yet another issue with the brakes months later. Shocked and somewhat suspicious I take it to another garage this time. They tell me if caliper was recently changed it it should be under warranty and that should take it back to lodge quarry to get fixed for free.

I return it to lodge quarry, they're reluctant to take it in but have a look at it. Tell me the caliper was "faulty" and change it and the pads for free. They appear sheepish but I take my van and tell myself I'll avoid them in the future.

A few months later the brakes have issued AGAIN! I take it to another garage and they say there's an issue with the caliper and change it for me. The discs also need replacing as they've been trashed when the caliper seized.

Either the garage didn't truly fix the issue and just took me for a ride. Or they couldn't diagnose the problem properly, fixed the wrong thing which led to it reoccurring.

Wouldn't use then again and I wouldn't advise using the place. Had another friend who took her van here and they didn't fix the fault properly.

On top off this they always come across peed off when you ask for updates and have come across rude on the phone multiple times.

Poor customer service, misdiagnosis or worse, scamming, I'd avoid if I was you.

Great service from the guys after dropping my bmw on them after the suspension spring snapped. They got it done in the quickest time possible to get me back on the road.
Great eye for detail. Trustworthy guys, who do what they say they will do. which is very hard to find. Would highly recommend.

Had to call in on the off chance they could help, miles away from home! Exhaust cover dropped and was hanging and dragging on the ground. Lovely guy came straight out, sorted the problem and wouldn't take a penny. Restored my faith in the human race, thank you so much. Highly recommend this business.

Absolutely brilliant.
Had a puncture on the M6 and managed to get just enough air in to get me to them.
My car has an unusual size tyre, they didn't have one in stock.
Firstly,they had a good look to see if there was a used tyre that would fit, the guy must have spent 15 minutes looking.
No luck, so he rang to get one sent over from Kendal, so I had a wander into town while this came over to them.
Bearing in mind it was a Saturday afternoon I was safely on my way in a couple of hours, I had a 120 mile drive home so using my space saver spare was a non starter.
Really nice guys to chat to as well.

Great service! I called them on a Saturday morning as I was nearby with a flat tyre. They replaced my tyre very quickly and the price was very reasonable as well. Highly recommended!
