Pretty good alternative to the ferry. Straight forward service, though it can be confusing at some points. The staff are very polite and helpful. The signs can improve though. Initial check in easy. Passport control easy. Shops essentially closed out of hours.
Overall process from calling to proceed till landing on France around 90 mins. Average cost around 135-150 sterlings booked online beforehand. Train journey indeed 35 mins.

We've been travelling on LeShuttle for may years and have always had good service, including during the pandemic when they extended our frequent traveller tickets. But their customer service was exceptionally helpful when I had a fall and fractured my wrist 2hrs before leaving home for a 6pm crossing that day. I rang them on my way to A&E and they moved the booking to a later date so I could amend the booking myself later when I was fit to travel again. Thank you for being so easy to deal with during a crisis!

The journey itself was fine. Easy access on and off and on time. Arriving after dark it was badly signposted where you needed to go after the checkin. Pet reception staff were great.

Needed to pass through to 3 checkpoints for passport control. The French were the most efficient. The British contingent left us waiting while they chatted despite knowing the train was almost ready to depart.

Overall a good experience.

Brilliant. So easy to drive in. Now straight through using Number plate recognition. We literally drive in, checkin at barrier. Collect printout of pet ticket. Then go to pet reception and next thing we are on Le Shuttle. Absolutely love it. So quick. Then out into France and beyond. No worries about leaving pet alone or lots of stress.

Quick, convenient and on time service on the euro tunnel. Ideal to book tickets in advance to get cheaper prices. Getting back to the UK from the French side can be a little complicated. Marvellous piece of engineering though!

Definitely the quickest and most economical way to travel between France and England. Smooth booking process and flawless check in. APNR picked me up the moment I was at the gate and I basically do not have to prepare anything to check in. Friendly staffs there too, including immigration officers both end.

The only thing is….. please …. Fix your electric vehicle charger on both sides…. I was hoping to charge my car while we are there to save time on charging at the destination.

Perhaps.. maybe… sell some drinks or snacks while on board to make some extra bucks and help people kill time lol
