The worse customer service experience I've ever received. My order arrived late and only received it because I emailed them where it was. One item was out of stock so they delayed posting without telling me. (Ordered on 12th December and emailed the 19th) I ordered to make a christmas hamper!! Order arrived on 23rd December and arrived damaged because it was sent in a bag 😩 who sends loose glass chutney jars and cheeses in a bag?!? To make it worse, I order 10 fudge bars (2 was out of stock) but only received 3.. they made the whole experience of getting a refund so stressful. So many of my emails ignored. I was promised a full refund for the missing items and damaged items. But only just received a refund for missing items.. at the end of January?! I won't ever order from this company again, it's not worth the stress.

Ordered cheese in early December for delivery on 17th December for a birthday present on 21st December. Nothing materialised and the order was still marked as 'processing' I sent an email as advertised on their website and on the 19th December the status changed to in picking. The order arrived on Friday while I was at work, I opened the box to check everything was OK and whilst it was packaged appropriately, the cheeses and chutney were not as I ordered. There is no customer service over the weekend so I have attempted to call since 9am this morning and whatever option you choose, it is just disconnected.
I appreciate the time of year means an increase in business, especially if you are advertising all over Facebook, however a business needs to prepare accordingly.

It seems there are a lot of people in the same boat as me and unfortunately due to the lack of response on email, calls etc will likely be leaving negative reviews.

A business can be made or damaged by the medium of social media nowadays, Chuckling Cheese probably need to have a think about their strategy for busy periods in the future

PS, I have a box of cheese, chutney and crackers in my fridge that I would like collected and a refund processed please

Terrible customer service, do not order from them

Placed an order on 9th December for delivery in the 19th. No delivery, no response to email, no one answering phones. Was supposed to be giving these as Christmas presents but guess that won’t be happening.

UPDATE: it’s now 24th December and I still haven’t received my order. Finally had an email at 5.15pm yesterday (23rd) to say it had been dispatched. This was despite me trying to cancel the order yesterday morning.
No idea when it will arrive, if it will arrive and whether it will have been refrigerated during travel.
And still no apology or phone call from the company.
I’m not giving up on this, I will be contacting them until I get a satisfactory response.

Very poor experience with this company. I ordered a pickled onion set and a chutney set, both listed as in stock. Received an email a few days later saying the chutney set was out of stock and asking me if I wanted to wait or cancel that part of the order. They gave no indication of how long the wait would be. I asked if I could have a different chutney set instead, which was also showing as in stock, only to be told that was out of stock too. I asked how long before they had stock and they said 20th December, so no good for Christmas. I then asked if I could have some individual chutneys instead and they said yes, so I emailed my selection and then heard nothing.

I left it a few days and called them. Got a message saying they were busy and to leave a message. No one responded to my message. I called again only to be told the pickled onions were now also out of stock. So I asked if they had refunded the order and they seemed genuinely surprised that I wanted a refund. I had to spell out that as they didn't have either of the products I'd ordered that clearly I wanted a refund. Interestingly the chutney sets were still showing as in stock on their website, so they are taking money from people for stock they don't have. I also commented on their Facebook page about the facts of my experience with them and they simply removed my comment rather than addressing it.

Ordered on line on 8/12/24 for Christmas present to be delivered 19th December. No order-chased via email as phones were not being answered. Receive a reply that evening from ‘Munchie Mouse’ saying order was now being picked…no why it was only just being picked when it should have been delivered. Long story short my order arrived to recipient 5 days late. I have tried ringing them on numerous occasions and no one answers phones. If they did their job properly instead of inventing ridiculous 5yr old names !!! APPALLING SERVICE ….STAY CLEAR

I placed an order 20th November requesting it was delivered 29th November, I never received an email confirming it had been shipped so reached out and was told that there was a delay. I was told this 30th November and was then told 2nd December that my order was being packed and have been continuously told this since. Appalling service would not recommend this company, lack of communication regarding my order has been disgraceful leading to me continuously having to be the one to reach out

I’m still being told my order is being packed which I have told since 2nd December which is outrageous. Still no word of when my order will be dispatched

Came here again today to try the cheese toastie. It was possibly one of the best ones I've ever had. Might have to start coming here once every week or 2 just to have the cheese toastie. Would recommend

Avoid! You don’t get any tracking information and you can’t contact them, the phone either hangs up or goes to overflow, even at 9am. You leave a message and you won’t hear from them. I thought I would give them a go but regret my decision, nothing has been received
