Good service from the start from Andy giving the quote.
Josh, Tom and Sean were excellent on the two days removals , worked incredibly hard and kept smiling all the time. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. The entire move was made so much more stressful than it should have been. Our initial inventory wasn't handed over to the movers, so on the day when they turned up and asked what they were taking and we explained that everything had to go, the drivers became very shirty and argumentative. They refused to take half of our belongings and they demanded that my disabled partner repack most of our things on the day because the boxes we had packed were 'too small' and he didn't want to have to make too many trips back and forth, even though we used normal packing boxes. Even after they had been, they left a lot of boxes and furniture I had to organise someone else to collect for us. My partner ended up seriously injured. On move in day seemed to run a bit smoother, apart from them not being able to get half our sofa into the property, so it was left in the garden. Myself and my stepdad managed to get it into the property no problem, so I don't understand what the issue was. The attitude of the drivers on this day was that they really couldn't be bothered and they felt really unapproachable. None of my tvs or pc monitors were protected, and one of my tvs is completely smashed, and I'd notice damage done to a radiator cover and my TV unit also. When I called to complain, the woman I spoke to really couldn't care less, she said she'd email me a claim form but nothing arrived. Personally, I would avoid this company.

Great service and price. We have used Maidmans 3 times to move house now. Can't recommend them highly enough. Always careful with our possessions and the correct furniture delivered to the correct rooms. They arive nice and early and work hard all day to get us moved smoothly. Wouldn't use anyone else now.

We contacted Maidmans to help with our move from Ferndown, Dorset to Scotland. A big move but we were in good hands. Maidmans quote was really reasonable compared to 2 others we contacted, Andy, Keith, Helen were all so helpful with the organisation and front office details, always available to take calls offering us advice on packing (we will use full packing service next time!) We had very heavy garden ornaments and planters - no problem. A pristine highly lacquered piano - again no problem. In fact nothing was a problem they only offered solutions. And that brings me to the stars of the show in our opinion - our dedicated team of movers over the 2 day move. 4 brilliant guys Matt, Josh, Tom and Shaun who were just amazing. Cheerful, funny, professional, knowledgable, they took the stress out of the whole thing. Plentiful supplies of tea coffee and biccies was all they wanted in return for which they worked like trojans. Nothing was damaged, our precious paintings were all wrapped up, they helped out with last minute packing too - no problem. They are an asset to the whole team at Maidmans. Thank you all!
