Used to come here all the time to send money to Bangladesh. Most the time the rate is good and money gets there within under a week. There is a fee of about £6 but nowadays we send online as fee is cheaper and from comfort of own home.

First time visiting this place for western union money transfer services.
I send money regularly to Bangladesh with RIA and western union, so this place says that it is an Western union agent.
They told me that for £950 I would get 132,000 taka at a rate of 142.
I asked the guy that can't be right, how much is the fees and he said the fees are £15.

Western Union doesn't charge £15, it's £3.90 for bank deposits. The same day I went to another Western Union agent and I send £951.04 and got 135,000 taka including a fee of £3.90 at the rate 142.53.

This place is robbing it's own community by charging rediculous extra fees.

I visited today to buy a ticket for a flight to Bangladesh that I previously agreed with the gentleman only the day before.

I arrived at the shop to buy my ticket - the same gentleman behind the counter bluntly tells me I can't buy it today. I was a bit confused as I only visited the shop the day before (15/01/2022) and was told I can visit today (16/01/2022) and purchase.

He kept saying come back tomorrow (for Monday 17/01/2022), I tried to explain to him that I live very far with long work hours and made massive sacrifices arranging the plane fare to arrive today an hour before closing time - but he wasn't interested, cut me off as I was trying to explain saying he's not meant to be working today or to that effect.

I arrived an hour before closing time, your shop was open, you are behind the counter - I could not understand why I couldn't buy sometime I agreed only a day before.

Your shop was highly recommended to me - but was left very disappointed and disrespected with the service.
