I recently left my storage unit at Storage King after 2 years of being with them, and I want to share my positive experience. The facility is very well-organized and easy to use, making the whole process smooth. On the few occasions we encountered issues, the staff were quick to resolve them and showed genuine care.

I’d like to give special thanks to Donna and Jade, who were both incredibly friendly, supportive, and understanding. We had a few challenges, like the lift not working for a time and being locked in when the main gate wouldn’t open late at night. That situation was especially stressful as I had my daughter with me, who was scared, but the staff returned to the office and resolved it. Despite these hiccups, everything was handled well, and the team’s effort was appreciated.

I also had a direct debit issue at one point, but Jade was fantastic in keeping me informed and reminding me of payments. Her understanding and supportive approach really made a difference. Overall, dealing with Storage King felt like working with people who genuinely care about their customers.

I’m happy with my experience and would definitely recommend Storage King to others!

I had to store the contents of my small 2 bed house in Cambridge for a considerable amount of time. Storage King in Coldham's lane provided the best price.

Mr.David and Miss.Donna from Storage King are fantastic. Moving houses is very stressful but people like David and Donna make it a little bit easier by providing a friendly service. From the beginning to finally moving my items into their storage unit, they provided the right guidance and patiently answered all the questions !

This service is very efficient, and the customer service is excellent. I met Jade at the front desk, and she was brilliant, very friendly, and communicative. I gave this company three stars because of the "hidden" extra costs that are not well advertised online (in small fonts and at the end of the page). These costs include the insurance, the padlock, and the initially confusing pricing structure. I hope that this company will improve these aspects. One more thing, the storage units do not have light, and it is a little difficult to place my stuff.

Admin was horrible. Storage unit was good
My gosh we had to do so much admin that we shouldn't have. We were told that we could give our notice to move out in person when we first moved in since we only needed storage for 2 weeks. We were then told they didn't do that any more. We were then told we would receive the link to give our notice immediately, but that took 3 days. And now we just got sent an invoice for next month after we moved out already. Called them up and they said you're just expected to ignore that invoice.... that is not how invoices normally work :')
So in summary we haven't had to pay extra yet and the storage was fine but my gosh I've spent like an hour longer than I should have on the phone and had so much more stress than I should've had.
If they fix their admin they'd be 5 stars
