Had a delivery today that I had missed twice and the sender wouldn't authorize for the goods to be left safe. Lady I spoke to at the Team C office this morning in Thetford was really helpful in securing an accurate eta which enabled me to be at home and meet the driver who was also helpful and called me to let me know he was on his way. Top notch service!

Coming from the perspective of a business owner, I strongly advise against using Team C. Stick to UPS, DHL, Parcelforce or even Evri - these are couriers that may not have someone immediately on the end of the phone, but will save you pain in the long run.

Imagine that you ask any courier on at least 5 separate occasions for some of their mail packs so you can ship your goods using THEIR service. Then imagine you don't receive them. You also ask the driver for mail bags when they collect from you on multiple occasions, but they never have any. They say they will bring some tomorrow, but never do. Eventually you decide that you have no option but to use your own standard brown envelopes. So thats what you do. You have a business to run and have to ship them somehow right?

Now fast forward a little way down the line and you have some invoices from Team C which seem a little high. Check closer and see that they have fined you £5 for every single time you have used your own envelope!!

Something about that screams immoral does it not? I mean, it would be the right thing to do, to tell your customer whats happening in this situation. But no. Not Team C. They're making extra money off the fines so its acceptable to just let it play out rather than do the right thing. They allowed us to continue doing it and never once mentioned it until we asked what the charges were.

Then when you raise it with them they point out the following condition:

"CONSIGNMENTS INCORRECTLY DECLARED ONLINE WILL INCUR A £5 RE-SORTATION FINE".

Transparent that isn't it? I mean even if you had the time to go through the small print and read that, what the hell does it even mean? It does not mention anything about packaging and any normal courier would be referencing parcel size /weight with such a statement and not the damn bags that you put them in. Not good old Team C though - these money-grabbing thieves collectively lack even an ounce of moral fibre and would rather utilise a murky condition to take extra money off their business customers - before eventually, as in this case, losing them.

I don't want to paint an account which is purely one-way as thats not what this review is and it would not be fair. I want to ensure it is balanced with the facts. The above are facts. Another fact is that yes we delayed paying our invoices due to these extra-charges which we did not understand at the time. And I will hold my hands up and say we should have dealt with it earlier rather than let it fester as long as we did. THAT was OUR fault. But that still does not excuse the lack of transparency and disgusting charges imposed on us for something, that lets not forget, was their own damn fault for never supplying us with the mail bags in the first place!! They could have fixed it. They didn't. And now here we are.

No company is perfect, but we are extremely disappointed that we recommended this company to so many other businesses and feel let down. We are now contacting those company's before they end up in a similar position.

My advice. Pay a little more and use a proper courier or else you will get hit with all manner of extra charges. I have also decided to refrain from getting personal regarding the attitude of the person we were dealing with. But that is certainly another factor that has prompted this review.

Our delivery driver (Rob) was the best we've had deliver to us, and there's been several during our self build project over the last 2 years! He was very polite, nothing phased him and he was happy to put the very large, heavy pallet where it needed to be - other local delivery companies could certainly learn a thing or two about customer service with a smile from this company! I'd certainly highly recommend using this company and wish all our deliveries came via them!! Thanks very much Rob, certainly makes a refreshing change to see a happy employee and it makes deliveries much less stressful. Good work Team C Express Logistics, keep up the great work!!

Missed a delivery, left a card without a name, could have left at the neighbours but I've requested to collect it the next day. The next day when I came to collect, at the collection point I've been told that the delivery driver took my parcel and will deliver within an hour, but was only delivered after nearly 4 hours. Complete waste of time, would not recommend using this delivery company.

Missed a delivery, they left a card without my name on it stating that they needed a signature for delivery. I used online chat to discuss collection as I could easily get to their depot.
Lady asked if my name was X, nope that's the name of the sender. Agreed that I could collect before 6:30 not 7pm as on the card.
I arrived after hassle of a big diversion just 1/4 mile from their depot - they could have told me that!
Parcel had been resent out for delivery. Seems that she didn't know that I had a card from the day before not the morning of the day that I called. If it's that important - then they should ask.

So she misread the label for my name
she didn't ask when i got the card
leading to not checking the status of the parcel
she quoted a different closing time to that on the card
she didn't advise of significant local traffic restrictions
But, in her defence, I assume she got her name right.

All in all, a shoddy experience with the office. The redelivery was made efficiently, just complete lack of effort at the office.
