Staff were very helpful and friendly in the lead up to the move. Packers came the day before, very efficient , friendly and helpful, extra careful with delicate/fragile items. On the day of the move, van arrived on time, removal men were very professional, friendly and helpful, extremely careful with all items of furniture.

We’ve used A J Stephensons several times over the past few years and most recently last month to move house and we cannot recommend them highly enough!

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Communication with the office was great and they were very understanding of our situation involving a chain which meant we didn’t have a firm moving date for some time.

On the day of the move, the team had thought of everything, arrived on time and was thoroughly prepared. Their professional and friendly attitude meant that we could relax and just let them get on with moving us.

On what was probably one of the wettest days in July (torrential rain), where we had wardrobes that needed to be taken apart and then rebuilt in the new house, the team handled everything perfectly and remained really positive and cheerful throughout what was a long and busy day.

Everything arrived in perfect condition, was left exactly were we asked and the whole experience was stress free.

If we ever move again we’ll definitely be using A J Stephenson.

We were very impressed with the service we received - the office had a total of 5 different completion dates from us, then on day of removal there was hours of hanging around outside our new home until we eventually completed gone 5pm, so the lads had to work extra fast to get us in, leaving us at 9.30pm - all done cheerfully despite the drizzle too! Also a huge effort by the guys to move our 10 huge planters into the garden, they were seriously heavy!! Well done and thank you to the crew, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you.

Very professional and helpful from initial contact right through to delivery. The price was very competitive and £1000 less than our second choice company. Our move took place over 3 days and the packers stayed cheerful and understanding the whole time even though we had a lot of ‘stuff’ to move. I recommend having the full packing service - you just need to sift out what you don’t need beforehand and then hold your nerve as the packing takes place the same day the van is loaded.
